AREA OF GIFTING
(JEREMIAH 1 VS 5)
When
God created man, he created him with a sense of
void placed within each and every one of them, which
purpose is to be inhabited only with presence and
nature of God.
But because of sin and its influence there is a
crisis and chaos over whom and what we should let
inhabit our inner voids.
Abilities and achievements have taken away God’s
place and priority in our voids, for that which
inhabits your inner God purposed void is that which
ultimately influences who you are and become. Your
nature of “god(s)” therefore portrays
your form and nature of identity.
We were not only created for a purpose by God but
also with an equipping of how to achieve our respective
purposes, but we are tempted to lose focus from
all this by our failure to appreciate our inner
unique gifting from God.
We despise our inner selves and gifting by trying
to live a life of measuring up to what the so called
standards of this world. Yet the bible says we are
in the world but not of this world,; we create a
façade of who we really are by trying to
imitate other people who are operating within their
areas of gifting, instead of us competing with our
inner voice which speaks to us to of whom we really
are.
We need to adhere within ourselves and start growing
within our positions and areas of strength, we need
to stop trying to find worth and value in what the
world thinks but rather look up to God for our sense
of identity constantly seeking his face. Secondly
we ought to celebrate our lives by living each day
as if it is our last!
This will banish any room for the Devil derailing
us from achieving our gifting and purposes. If you
find yourself not comfortable with whom you are,
you create a barrier which inhibits you to realize
your area of gifting and who you truly are. If you
become true to yourself you will be able to appreciate
other people’s achievements and purposes.
Staying true to how God purposed and sees you is
one of the key ways to help you achieve and unlock
the victor and giant within you irrespective of
your area of gifting. The word of God in (Proverbs
18v16) records how ones ability and talent can make
a way for him if they stay true to it.
Appreciation of our limitations and boundaries
also helps us do best in our sphere of gifting for
it narrows our efforts to who we are and what we
can do best, in the bible John the Baptist remained
in his sphere of ability by noting that ahead of
him one much greater than him was coming, he took
no honor which wasn’t his (John 3v27).
Paul as he prepared to complete his mission in
his area of gifting kept saying he had fought the
good fight, because he had remained true to his
calling and self and was now urging young Timothy
to understand his gifting and self so that he could
excel in within his calling to the fullest.
(2 Timothy 4v14 and 1 Timothy 1v6).
What is your area of gifting? Have you been true
to it? If not, have you seen how much important
it is for you to start pursuing it?
May God fully equip you and endorse you so that
you may fully comprehend who you truly are in His
awesome plan and how you are to carry out your area
of ability and purpose to the fullest. May you never
be tempted to stray from your true self by trying
to imitate someone’s area of gifting and purpose.
King Saul was tempted over David’s victory
after David achieved within his area of gifting
more than he had done (2 Samuel 21v11).
